A detail.

Now the village is totally wrecked. It was fascinating to walk around as we did in september 2009. It was covered with vegetation and you could not enter the ruins. The houses a litle bit higher up (the long building) were in better shape. Workers lived there and there was a small police station.

You see these stone walls (for defence against ….?) also on the older black and white pictures. The tree is a walnut.

  1. Do you know of any link with photos and text regarding the current restoration progress at Hilanadari?

  2. Dear Rev. Father-n-charge,

I would be very grateful to you if you would kindly send me the dried grapes of 1000 yr. old vine. I need them for my daughter. I understand these grapes bless/help the childless couple with fertility.

Thanking you and awaiting your favorable reply.
